Katie and Dan’s wedding was one of the few we captured in such beautiful locations. Tucked away in the heart of Hampshire, there’s a beautiful fishery with a seriously picturesque field, river and lakes, set in idyllic surroundings.
Katie and Dan are a gorgeous couple who really know how to throw a party! They chose to combine a civil ceremony with their marquee reception, which meant they had all their guests enjoying a hot summer afternoon and evening.
As well as being able to photograph the bride and groom getting ready, the ceremony and then the speeches, we also had plenty of time to explore the grounds for great evening photos.
We’ve been lucky enough to see some incredible details at some of our weddings this year but these were something else! From the personalised napkins and menus, to the amazing flowers by Emily from Little and Bloom, there were fabulous details everywhere you looked! Everything was bursting with colour in this floral setting.
One of the things we loved about this wedding was just how relaxed everybody was. I think that reflects on Katie and Dan as a couple – they’re super chilled to be around and are excellent hosts, ensuring their guests had an amazing time. And let’s not forget their group of amazingly fun friends. That’s something we rarely encounter. The night ended in a glorious Ibiza style party.
